January 24th is a date for Mooresville athletic supporters and basketball fans to mark. On that Friday, the Pioneers play the Plainfield Quakers for homecoming. The theme will be “Blackout Plainfield”. At six, the varsity girls play, and at eight, the varsity boys play.
Monday’s spirit theme is Safari Day, Tuesday’s is Super Hero Day, Wednesday’s is Western Day, Thursday’s is ‘70s day, and Friday’s is Blue and Gold Day.
Every morning at 7:45 there will be a best dressed contest for each theme. There will also be Twitter contests by Mrs. Selby from her Twitter account, @MrsSelby110.
The pep rally will be the day of Homecoming. Students will be dismissed at 1:40 for the events. There will be games such as Chubby Bunny, Dance Off, and Knockout. Sign up for the games in Mrs. Selby’s room during passing period or PEP at A116.
Between the Girls’ and Boys’ game, the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned. Be sure to come out Friday and support your Pioneer Basketball Teams!
