Mooresville High School Athletic Department Announces Champions of Character Award Winners for September

Mooresville, IN – The Mooresville High School Athletic Department is pleased to announce the Champions of Character award winners from all Mooresville Schools for the month of September.

The Champions of Character program specific inspires character qualities being implemented through life experiences gained from the educational and/or athletic experiences at Mooresville.  The program recognizes one male & female student from each elementary school, the middle school and high school for the month of September.  The students each month are nominated by their teachers and chosen by their Principal for demonstrating the following three main core values through the Mooresville Champions of Character program: Character, Unity and Servant Leadership. 
September Award Winners:

Mooresville High School – senior Shelby Hartley & senior Brandon Fenley
Mooresville Middle School – 8th grader Amy Frone & 7th grader Jack Jenkins
Neil Armstrong Elementary – 6th grader Grace Pollard & 2nd grader Michael Dzelme
Newby Elementary – 5th grader Ashli Striegel & 3rd grader Gabe Eggers
Northwood Elementary – 3rd grader Abby Bryant & 4th grader J.D. Mansky
North Madison Elementary – 6th grader Olivia Stinson & 6th grader Noah Woodson
Waverly Elementary – 1st grader Jill Ramsey & 5th grader Luke Schmitt

The program will recognize those students who are making a positive difference in Mooresville schools as they demonstrate these core values throughout the year.  The students selected for the month of September will be recognized at halftime of the upcoming varsity football game next Friday, October 5, 2012. All award winners and their parents will receive free admission to the football game, which starts at 7:00 p.m.
