   The Indiana High School Press Association named Mooresville High School's 2013 Wagon Trails Yearbook a Hoosier Star Finalist.  The Hoosier Star is the highest honor given to a yearbook in the State of Indiana.

This season’s student section has been the most energetic it has been for a while. A large portion of this Pioneer pride can be attributed to Student Section Leader Donavon DeVault. I recently interviewed him over what has made this season such a success in terms of student body participation. 
Q: What are your thoughts on this year’s turnout for all of the games? A: I’ve been extremely impressed with this year’s turnout. Everyone has really done their part to this season as fun as it can be so far.
Q: How early in advance do you tend to plan for Friday nights? How much have you spent? A: I usually plan for each game about two to three days ahead of time. It helps me to not stress out over whether I think I’m prepared or not. I have spent a little over 500 dollars on this season alone. You have to have the cash if you want to make sure everyone can participate.
