Summer Jobs by Sarah Gray


The time of year has come where every high school student is trying to figure out how they are going to spend their summer. Although the idea of sleeping this break away is appealing, sophomore Maddie Sussman has something more productive in mind: a job.

In a column written by Georgia Jeffries recently printed by the Mooresville High School Pulse Newspaper, I failed to include that fireworks could not be set off this year at football games because of the new turf football, due to the fact that it is flammable. Sorry for the confusion!

  Disappearance, and sexual assault have become a common thing to see on the news in this day and age, especially on college campuses. With perpetrators secretly giving their victims date rape drugs, feeding them alcohol, and stalking their victims to know at which points of the day they are most vulnerable, college campuses could be considered almost a hunting ground for predators.

Walking in is a bright colored, loud room. People are walking in with either smiles on their face, or tears running down them.
The Morgan County Humane Society is located in Martinsville, Indiana and has been around since the 1970s. It was founded and started by two women and a van. But I guess everyone has to start somewhere, right?
