Girls Soccer Preview

Girls’ Soccer last
year had a 10-1-3 season with a loss in the first round of sectionals.
“We all worked out
over the summer to get stronger, and it has made a huge difference with how far
my free kicks go,” senior defender and captain Alex Langford said.
The Lady Pioneer
Soccer team has also changed offensive formations to be more effective with the
ball.
“We can definitely
win conference. Our toughest game will be against Plainfield, but we need to take
each game seriously. We also have to work in practice with the same goal in
mind,” Varsity Coach Jason Damron said.
Overall, the Lady
Pioneers are looking forward to another conference champion repeat and a win in
the sectional championship.
